Elder Wirthlin

I think that it is awesome how the Utes are honoring Joesph B. Wirthlin. They will be wearing his initials on their helmets when they take on Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. This is how it looks:

I was lucky enough to hear Elder Wirthlin speak when I was at the MTC. Fittingly, he used an analogy of football in his talk. I remember when Urban Meyer was the coach, he and his family became really good friends with Elder Wirthlin. In some reading I also learned that his nickname was "Speedy" Wirthlin and he played fullback. I just thought it was really classy of the Utes to honor him. He certainly deserves it.
