Peter's Picks 2k12 - week 1

Here we go again folks.  Welcome to a new year of Peter's picks.  It's easy just comment to the post with your name and tell us who you think will win each of the 10 games listed below.
Similar to last year, we will keep track of overall record and also award "tickets."  You get 2 tickets if you beat Peter and 1 ticket if you tie him.  New to this year, you will also get a ticket if you beat Aaron, if you tie Aaron no ticket will be awarded.

Most of the teams we all care about (Utah, BYU, even Utah St) all play on Thursday this week and I never put Thursday games in because people sometimes don't put up their picks until Saturday morning, so none of those teams are on the list.  The first few weeks there aren't a lot of really good match ups since most of the big schools are playing their patsies, but there are a few interesting games.  I also like to put in a division II or III game in the mix just for giggles.  Here it is:


1. No. 8 Michigan vs. No. 2 Alabama
2. No. 14 Clemson vs. Auburn
3. Notre Dame vs. Navy
4. Nevada at California
5. Colorado State vs. Colorado
6. Toledo at Arizona
7. Georgia Tech at No. 16 Virginia Tech (Monday night game)
8. South Dakota at Montana
9. Southern University at New Mexico
10. Alabama A&M vs. Tuskegee

Remember whoever has the best overall record will win some gear of the team of their choosing.  We will also have a drawing in which the number of tickets you have accumulated over the season will be put into a pot and a lucky winner will also get some gear.  As the time gets closer we may add something else we will see.  Try to play each week!  I will try to remind everyone on facebook when I put up the list.  Let's get it started...
